1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the MuzicSkool website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all users, including students, teachers, parents, guardians, and visitors.
2. Description of Services
MuzicSkool provides music education services, including but not limited to:
- Individual and group music lessons
- Music class enrollment and scheduling
- Online registration and payment processing
- Student and teacher account management
- Event and production services
- Educational resources and materials
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.2 Account Approval
Student and teacher accounts are subject to approval by MuzicSkool administrators. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or suspend accounts at our discretion.
4. Enrollment and Payment
4.1 Enrollment Process
Enrollment in classes is subject to availability and approval. By enrolling, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees and charges
- Attend scheduled classes regularly
- Follow class rules and instructor guidelines
- Provide accurate enrollment information
4.2 Payment Terms
- All fees are in Philippine Peso (PHP) unless otherwise stated
- Payment must be made through approved methods (GCash, Bank Transfer)
- Proof of payment must be uploaded for verification
- Enrollment is confirmed only after payment verification
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy (see Section 5)
4.3 Late Payments
Late payments may result in suspension of services or cancellation of enrollment. We reserve the right to charge late fees or interest on overdue amounts.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
5.1 Student Cancellations
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing
- Refunds are processed according to the following schedule:
- Before class start: Full refund minus processing fees
- Within first week: 75% refund
- Within first month: 50% refund
- After first month: No refund
- Refunds are processed within 14 business days
5.2 School Cancellations
If MuzicSkool cancels a class, enrolled students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available class.
6. Code of Conduct
All users must adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect
- Maintain appropriate behavior during classes and events
- Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct
- Respect school property and facilities
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
- Do not share account credentials with others
- Do not use our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to services.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Content
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is the property of MuzicSkool or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
7.2 User Content
By uploading content (photos, videos, documents) to our platform, you grant MuzicSkool a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for educational and promotional purposes.
8. Class Schedules and Attendance
- Class schedules are subject to change with advance notice
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes
- Make-up classes may be available at the discretion of the instructor
- Excessive absences may result in removal from the class
- Students arriving late may miss portions of the lesson
9. Teacher Responsibilities
Teachers using our platform agree to:
- Provide accurate professional information and credentials
- Maintain professional conduct with students
- Follow curriculum guidelines and teaching standards
- Attend scheduled classes punctually
- Submit required documentation and reports
- Respect student privacy and confidentiality
10. Limitation of Liability
MuzicSkool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MuzicSkool, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to services at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through email or website notice. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Davao City, Philippines.
